Module 6 – The 12 and The Master numbers 11, 22, 33, 44

Early numerologists such as Pythagoras never used these numbers; in fact they stuck to 0 through 9. However, at some point during early civilization, most likely with the Jewish tradition, an interest in the numbers that duplicated their digits caused them to name these numbers: ‘Master Numbers’ as they indicated that there were special ‘master traits’ you would have if they showed up in your chart.

There is some value in watching for these numbers throughout the chart, and at least being aware of the overall traits associated with them. It is also essential to always reduce the master numbers to their lowest form, for example 11 becomes 2, and is noted as: 11/2, the 22 becomes 4: 22/4, etc. The lower reduced form can indicate the basic traits that these numbers will hold, however, if the person that has these numbers appear in their chart is able to make use of them properly and to spiritually accept the responsibility that comes with the number, there is a potential for greater growth, especially in the spiritual, and mental dimensions.

Let’s take a look at each of the master numbers and what they represent:

The Eleven (11).
Eleven is the revelation of humankind. It represents the human as a messenger of the gods and mastery on the physical plane. Inspiration is always heightened with this number, as well as intuition. The spiritual aspects will come to the forefront and material aspects will take a backseat. If the native can master the 11 traits then spiritual awareness is at hand, otherwise the 2 energy is one that is much different indicating a loss of material wealth and severe emotional disharmony. There is a heightened sensitivity to others with this number, artistic expression is indicated and nervousness may follow if the 11 vibration cannot be followed.

Positive traits of 11 Spiritual power, courageousness, artistic, pioneering, original, intuitive, just, idealistic.

Negative traits of 11 Overly emotional (sensitive), dominant, poverty, emotionally nervous, weak, imbalanced.

The Twelve  (12).
Twelve is not a master number but we must discuss it so that we have a full understanding of all numbers used in our expanded numerological base-13 system (0-12).  Twelve is the sadness of humankind. Combining the higher, spiritual octave of the 1 (10) and the 2 results in a number indicating perfection and rebirth as self-expression is practiced. One (1), positive and representing man, with two (2), woman and the negative to create three (3) birth.

The spirit is born in humankind, the human will realize that he is part of god. The normal three (3) takes on a higher/spiritual power when it results from the 12 instead of being the single-digit number by itself. Knowledge and wisdom are the keys, but if they cannot be achieved the 12 can result in unhappiness, and be a warning of danger to come.

Positive traits of 12 Charity, wisdom, perfection, charity, accomplishment.

Negative traits of 12 Suffering, trouble, limbo, disassociation, lack of identity.

Twenty-two is the mastery of humankind. It represents love, mystery and wisdom or planning abilities. It is mastery on the mental plane. It is a number of the true mystic. Compassion and visions of larger scale plans are traits of this number. It represents mastery over physical/material aspects by using the power of spiritual awareness. This number represents great abilities to plan and see global issues with a clarity that is not possible for others. They work to bring dreams into reality on the physical plane.
